BoardEffect Upgrades to meet clients needs
PHILADELPHIA, PA – May 7, 2009 – BoardEffect is pleased to announce the launch of an upgraded version of the portal. The new version, which was designed with clients in mind, will enhance the efficiency and functionality of the tool, facilitating the work of boards of directors even more.
BoardEffect’s 50 plus clients, who include American Academy of Family Physicians, Metropolitan Capital Bank, and Fresno State Alumni Association, can now benefit from an increased functionality of the meeting books and the board manual with their customizable templates, password-protection (for the meeting books), and the ability to compile their contents into one PDF. “Being able to gather board documents into a PDF format was one of our clients’ main requests. We are delighted to be able to provide this functionality and to be responsive to their needs” said Dottie Schindlinger, Vice President of E-governance at BoardEffect.
In addition, the upgrades include the creation of private folders for individual board members, role-based access levels to further control user access to information, and an improvement of the organization and management of committee documents. Through the addition of categories for committee files, and the provision of full meeting book functionality within the committee workroom, access to files is facilitated and productivity increased. "We are very pleased about the recent upgrades to our portal and to know that BoardEffect is on our side, constantly working to improve our governance process," said BoardEffect user Cheryl Wentz, Executive Assistant, at Landmark on the Sound.
