Founded in 1989 by the Wharton Small Business Development Center, The Enterprise Center's mission is to cultivate market-driven opportunities for established and emerging minority entrepreneurs, working towards a world in which minority and non-minority companies achieve similar rates and degrees of success.

By offering marketable services that provide access to capital, consulting, business education and economic development opportunities, The Enterprise Center positions high-potential minority enterprises to compete in the local, regional and global economies.
